Safoura Massoumi, DDS

Managing Dentist & Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Massoumi comes from a family of physicians. She attended three years of medical school and discovered that dentistry was her passion. Educated at the top dental school in Belgium, she immigrated to the United States and completed her degree in pediatric dentistry at Oregon University. She moved to San Diego in 1993 and opened her first office in Chula Vista on Fourth and E street in 1997; an adult center is located on Third Avenue in Chula Vista. She opened another office in San Marcos in 2000. When she isn’t in Chula Vista or San Marcos, Dr. Massoumi serves as a senior staff member at Rady Children’s Hospital and performs dental surgeries in the operating room.

A person with many talents, Dr. Massoumi not only practices dentistry, but she also manages teams of skilled pediatric dentists. In each clinic are specialists who care about and are proud of their service to the community. They are known for their honesty, skills, and effective treatments. Many have worked with the company for over a decade. They know their task on hand, are self-disciplined and professional. Plus, the employees are committed to providing dental care for kids in a fun environment.

Dr. Massoumi believes strongly in giving back to the community. Her clinics have been awarded and recognized by Dan Diego’s Health and Human Services Agency and Child Health and Disability Prevention Program. She also supports numerous local programs

Hoss Said, MBA

President, COO

Hoss Said takes a vision and makes it reality through strategic development. He intuitively sees the threads of opportunity that wind through an organization, brings them together into a coherent whole, helps others extend their thinking, and drives material business advantage. He is an inspirational leader who tells stories that inspire action while at the same time is grounded in financial information that levers the business. Respected as a credible voice in decision making, finding strategic financing partners, and establishing governance boundaries, Hoss earns a seat at the table wherever he serves.

Hoss earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Woodbury University in 1984, followed by MBA program from the University of Phoenix in Business Administration and International Finance.

Hoss has been the Vice President of Children’s Primary Dental Group since 2013, where he manages corporate strategic, financial, operational, technological, and regulatory risk to maximize company value. His combined experience in mergers and acquisitions helps the organization move forward with confidence. Hoss also has served as Vice President to Global Lenders, Inc., handling high profile accounts with commercial bridge financing needs for acquisitions and restructure since 2004.

Hoss is consultant to a wide range of complex business and commercial transactions, and also is an expert witness. He analyzes and negotiates the purchase of goods and/or services, assesses business opportunities from a contractual risk and profitability perspective, provides direction and recommendations, and makes sound decisions on business matters that affect the assumption and/or mitigation of contractual, performance or other risks. Hoss has a proven track record of over 30 years executive management, finance, and real estate. He is experienced with managing growth and marketing of product lines and services, including but not limited to multi-million dollars restructuring, acquisitions, financing and marketing of various commercial business projects and investments lines.

Hoss supports community nonprofit organizations for needy people and volunteers his time to help with such missions.

David Bejarano

Consultant

David Bejarano became police chief of San Diego in 1999 and Chula Vista in 2009. He was sworn in as the City of Chula Vista’s 23rd Chief of Police. Chief Bejarano lead a department of 240 sworn law officers and 90 civilian employees, plus more than a hundred volunteers and oversaw a budget of 49 million dollars. He has Served as president of the California Police Chief’s Association and was appointed to the U.S. Marshals Service in 2003. Bejarano has been on the board of South Bay Community Services, SD Food Bank, California Board of State and Community Corrections and the Chula Vista Elementary School District. Over the course of his public service and currently, he serves on a number of community-based organizations and local and national law enforcement organizations. Bejarano is also a Founder of Vibra Bank, now Pacific Commerce Bank. Mr. Bejarano has been the recipient of numerous awards, including being recognized as one of San Diego’s “50 Persons to Watch” (2000); one of the nations “100 Most Influential Hispanics” (1999); San Diego “Diogenes Award” for candor and professionalism in dealing with the news media (2000), and the San Diego Mediation Center’s “2003 Peacemaker Award.” Mr. Bejarano is a native of El Paso, Texas, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from National University and served in the U.S. Marine Corps prior to his law enforcement career.

Alan Newman, DDS

Consultant

Dr. Alan Newman has more than 20 years of experience in general and cosmetic dentistry. He graduated from University of California, Los Angeles and earned his dental degree at University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. Dr. Newman has worked as Chief Dental Officer and Management Consultant for Onsite Dental LLC, Regional manager at Pacific Dental Sevices, Dentist at Coast Dental, Managing Dentist at West Coast Dental Services,  and CSMR.
